Ok, i'm far too late for traditional art day, been very busy at school. But i'm gonna feature an artist anyway.
Tom S. Hageman
You could call some of his works surrealist, some of it reminds of jugenstil, some of his works are very iconic, and some of them remind me of romanticism (like friedrich). Definitely not a one trick wonder.
I like that this man studied at the same academy as i'm going to now. And despite going to an academy in a relatively small town, he developed a style and career to be proud of (or at least i would be).
He's traveled the world, he's been to Turkey, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, India and the Czech republic. While in Prague he was inspired to do the series "De denkbeeldige stad Praag" (or the imaginairy city of Prague):
Facade met Palmboom
other works:
Nevelvlek in de Jachthonden
Erotisch Landschap 1

Don't wait for a chance...but SEARCH and FIND it, because we don't know when the chance we are waiting for to come.
